How we work
Editorial Policy
How Trovenyx researches, writes, and reviews its content — accurately, kindly, and independently.

Trust is the only thing that makes a parenting publication worth reading — especially when families are making decisions about their health. This page explains how we research, write, review, and maintain everything on Trovenyx, and how we keep our content accurate, kind, and independent.
How we choose what to cover
We write about the real questions parents have: a worry in early pregnancy, a newborn who won't settle, a toddler's big feelings, the daily logistics of family life. Ideas come from our own families, reader questions, and the patterns we see parents wrestle with again and again. We do not chase fear or trends for traffic's sake.
How we research and write
Every article is written or edited by a named member of our team. Our work is evidence-aware: we lean on reputable health and parenting sources — such as recognised pediatric, obstetric, and public-health guidance — and we are careful to separate solid information from old wives' tales. We translate it into plain, calm language you can actually use. Where claims depend on guidance or research, we point to credible sources, and we try to be honest when the evidence is mixed, evolving, or uncertain rather than overstating it.
Care with health and YMYL topics
Pregnancy, infant, and child health are sensitive subjects, and we treat that responsibility seriously. Trovenyx offers general educational information, not medical, pediatric, obstetric, or psychological advice, and we say so clearly. We remind readers that every pregnancy, baby, and child is different; that their own doctor, midwife, or pediatrician — not the internet — knows their situation best; and that they should seek prompt medical attention for any concern, and emergency services in an emergency. We never position an article as a diagnosis, a treatment, or a substitute for professional care. See our disclaimer for the full statement.
Kind, judgment-free, non-prescriptive content
We hold every draft to a simple standard: is this honest, helpful, and free of judgment? We avoid shame, scare tactics, and one-size-fits-all rules. Breast or bottle, crib or co-sleep — we present the information and trust parents to choose what fits their family. If a piece would only make a tired parent feel worse, it does not run.
Our use of AI tools
Our articles are written and edited by people. We may use software for spell-checking, research, or suggesting outlines, but a human writer is responsible for the substance, accuracy, and final wording of everything we publish. We do not publish auto-generated content.
Independence and advertising
Trovenyx is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense, and occasionally by affiliate links. To protect your trust:
- We never accept payment to praise a method, product, or brand, and we do not run pay-for-placement in our articles.
- Advertising is always clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
- Affiliate relationships never change our judgement — see our disclaimer for the full disclosure.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do, we fix them quickly and transparently — and we treat corrections on health topics as a priority. If you spot an error or an out-of-date detail, email [email protected] or use our contact form. Substantive corrections are noted on the article.
Updates
Because guidance evolves, we revisit popular articles and refresh them as recommendations change. When a piece is meaningfully updated, the publication date reflects the most recent revision.
